Modelling

Modelling efforts involve hydrologic modelling of the major lakes. The purpose is to use the lakes as rain gauges, using the reconstructed fluctuations to quantify rainfall variability prior to the availability of gauge records. Work has focused on Lake Victoria, and is proceeding with Lakes Malawi and Tanganyika.
