Modelling Vegetation-Climate Relationships

We are modelling the inter-relationships between climate variables and vegetation, in order to produce a land surface scheme for studying land-atmosphere interaction over Africa. We are also working with Prof. Steve Running and his associates, using their vegetation models to study the impact of changing climate on vegetation. Later we will use projected changes in vegetation to study the impact of vegetation on climate, using GCMs or Regional Models.
