Modelling Vegetation-Climate Relationships

 

We are also studying the more generic aspects of land/atmosphere interaction, particularly the interaction between natural vegetation changes and climate. Some are described in other areas under "earth system science". Interests include such areas as the impact rainfall variability on dust generation, impact of vegetation changes on surface properties such as albedo, and the impact of several decades of West African drought on vegetation.
