As part of the Innovative Instruction grant from FSU, a large number of animations were created to display the yearly cycles of climatological values over the globe and by continent. Included here are several of these animations, stored in PowerPoint files. The PowerPoint files have not only the animations but explanations as to what is occuring in the cyckes by month, and the relative effects on the global and local climate Surface air temperature, measured precipitation, sea level pressure, and radiation, both short and longwave, are presented The reader will need a method for observing .PPT (ms powerpoint) files. |
