  "Having positive attitudes is very important in the development of young girls. In a gender equity conference I attended, their slogan was remarkable, resourceful and resilient. Today’s woman must have all of these qualities, in addition to talent to be successful even more so in the field of science which is dominated by men. However, with more women paving the way through the field of science, young girls will have resources that did not exist before. A program such as REALM will allow our students, especially girls, to have a jump-start on life."
