Day 9
  
     
  Morning: Action Planning Continued  
  Teachers will complete action plans with at least two fully developed activities correlated to national and state standards. These will be presented to the class via PowerPoint. They will also be provided training in Microsoft Publisher and FrontPage so that WWW-development and dissemination of information may be demonstrated.  
     
  Afternoon: Weather Analysis and Forecasting III  
  The teachers will participate in a forecast contest in which they will forecast the weather for Miami for the next several days. This contest will continue on Day 10. After a briefing, teachers will team up and produce detailed forecasts, including discussions and numerical forecasts of maximum and minimum temperature, precipitation probability, precipitation amount, and wind direction and speed for four times during the day.
