  Morning: Action Planning for the Academic Year  
  Teachers will begin to work together to plan specific activities that student participants will engage in during the school year. They will also identify activities they would like to see during the special event days that will take place once every two months. They will also be provided training in the Microsoft Office software suite, including Excel and PowerPoint, to enable teachers to analyze scientific data and make presentations.  
     
  Afternoon: Weather Analysis and Forecasting II  
  Using other NOAA cooperative observer network stations and official reporting station data, in combination with our weather stations' data, teacher will practice spatial analysis of weather data, in particular the drawing of streamlines and the production of isotherm and isohyets charts. There is a significant artistic component to producing a good weather map, in addition to its scientific value.
