Day 6
  
     
  Morning: Best Practices and Programs  
  Teachers will work in groups to develop a compendium of gender equity strategies, best practices, and programs which they will share the following day. They will also begin to work on multimedia presentations to be presented on Day 10. Based on the previous day's activity, teachers will explore sample experiential learning questions. Based on the age level of the students they will work with (middle school), they will be provided with realistic expectations.  
     
  Afternoon: Weather Analysis and Forecasting I  
  Using data collected from our weather station (set up on Day 3), we will analyze data in a time series fashion. Teachers will become familiar with concepts such as trends and cycles as they analyze their data. Emergency management aspects of meteorology will be introduced.
