17) How do I get manuals and so on from NOAA?
The person to contact is a National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) Information Specialist. This is the person to ask for manuals and "where to find it" within NESDIS and NOAA satellite operations. Note that most manuals are now being put online in electronic form (see 18, below) and not as bound copies. This person is not going to be able to help with weather questions; contact the National Weather Service or other appropriate agency.
