ABOUT US-------
HISTORY-------
- The EXPLORES! Program was founded in 1992 by Dr. Paul Ruscher
and Dr. Kevin Kleosel, associate professors at Florida State
University, Department of Meteorology. Since then, what began
as four demonstration direct-readout satellite ground stations
in the state of Florida in 1992, has grown to over 200
direct-readout gound stations in grade schools, science
museums, and community colleges across the nation. Over the
past 8 years EXPLORES! has become one of the premiere
university-directed K-12 outreach programs in the world.
