Good morning,
Friday will bring in some of the high clouds ahead of the next front moving into
the area. The temperature at the airport was a very cool 25 but may not reflect
the temperatures closer to town. For the first time in a couple of days I saw no
frost on cars this morning.
It will be getting colder but not until after the moisture is gone so there is
no chance for frozen precipitation of any kind. A tarp pull may be a good thing
tonight at softball just incase the amount of rain becomes a bit more like last
week but I am not anticipating this to occur.
Friday and Friday Night:
Friday will be a day of increasing cloudiness with a high of 62 and a south to
southwest wind at 5-10 mph.
Friday night the cloudiness will continue with a much warmer low of 40 under a
southerly wind at 3-8 mph.
Saturday and Saturday Night:
Saturday will be cloudy and cool with the high reaching 57 and a 70% chance for
showers after 10 am until 8 pm. Winds will be from the west at 12-18 mph and
then increase to 15-20 after 1 pm.
Overnight Saturday will be cooler again with a low of 31 under cloudy skies that
will have patches of blue by sunrise. The northwest winds will still be brisk at
8-12 mph but there will be nothing falling from the sky.
Sunday and Sunday Night:
Sunday, the clouds will gradually clear to allow some warming up to 58 for the
high under a north to northeast wind at 5-10 mph.
Nighttime will be the cool down with a hard freeze overnight as the low drops to
24 and will be in the hard freeze category for at least five hours. The winds
will not be as much a factor as they will drop to 2-7 mph from the north to
northeast but the skies will be clear to allow a lot of radiational cooling.
