Professors taking part from FSU during the investigation include Dr. T. N. Krishnamurti, Dr. Mark Bourassa, Dr. Gousheng Liu, Dr. Paul Reasor, and Dr. Philip Cunningham.

Staff and students taking part in Costa Rica as the forecast team for Dr. Krishnamurti include Bill Cottrill, Leela Ramaswamy, and Cerese Albers.
